wo0t. traffic trails ahoy!

[edit:4 March. After 3 hours in the cold last night attempting variations on traffic trails and 3 hours the other day running up and down the stairs with my boyfriend in the dark brandishing LEDs [as well as him making temporary waterfalls in the bath on which to shine various lights]... I'm a little pissed off that i, somehow, oh so stupidly, decided to format my memory card today.

But..
Why is the focus on digital cameras so dodgy? I know i should focus shots myself anyway but i tend to be too interested in capturing what i want... It's my new rule to manual focus. always. The best photo i took today was focused by moi. I suppose that's something to cling on to..?

I'm also trying to learn how to improve the quality of my digital photos. So..patience would be helpful.

Still struggling with lighting etc. But i'm determined.

Anybody willing to give me a hand...let me know
or any [constructive] criticisms would be great!
